Destination Wedding Tuscany – Anne and John
Anne and John chose to celebrate their destination wedding in Tuscany surrounded by the rolling countryside near Barberino Val d’Elsa. Casale Celli offered privacy, space, and a relaxed atmosphere where guests could truly slow down and enjoy the experience.
Although the wedding day was the highlight, the celebration extended beyond a single moment. The couple stayed at the estate for nearly a week, while we joined them for three days. As a result, we were able to document not only the ceremony but also the rehearsal dinner and the quiet in-between moments that often tell the most honest stories.
A Relaxed Celebration in the Tuscan Countryside
The atmosphere throughout this destination wedding Tuscany experience felt warm and natural. Everything unfolded at its own rhythm.
The day before the ceremony, friends and family gathered for a relaxed dinner at the estate. It was informal, welcoming, and full of anticipation.
The event itself was coordinated by Ben from Ben Italy Weddings, who ensured that everything flowed smoothly without ever feeling staged. Meanwhile, the catering by Italian Taste Lodovichi brought refined local flavors to the table, enhancing the authentic Tuscan setting.
Meaningful Moments and Personal Choices
One of the most enjoyable parts of the day was the couple’s decision to rent a vintage Italian Fiat 500. We drove into the countryside and photographed them among the open landscapes. The setting was simple, yet visually strong. That short session produced some of the most iconic images of their destination wedding in Tuscany.
Later, before dinner officially began, Anne and John performed their first dance. They had prepared it carefully. The choreography felt confident and joyful. It marked the true beginning of the evening celebrations.
Another personal touch was the wedding cake. They chose to prepare it themselves. It was a spontaneous and genuine moment that reflected their hands-on approach to the entire event.
